Mary Pratt and Looking Through The View Finder

For my series I was inspired by Mary Pratt's images, particularily those of plucked chickens, salmon fillet, and the dinner table

I chose to take a picture of thawing steak. I was particularly inspired by that ribbon of fat that cuts down the middle. I also really enjoyed her baked goods paintings.
